About Me
I’ve been involved in the Health and Fitness industry for over 20 years, and in the past few years I’ve focused on the fascia - and specifically - how mobilising it can quite literally change your life!
I grew up in South Africa, where I started my Health and Fitness education, this is where my love for helping people began. I moved to London with the aim of learning and broadening my professional horizon. It was in this season, that I added Personal Training to my qualifications.
In 2011, my Husband and I moved to Perth. After taking some time out from my career to raise our two boys, I continued my education by learning about Myofascial Mobility.
What sets me apart is my advanced knowledge and understanding of physiology, including the Musculoskeletal systems & fascial tissue. My passion is centred on finding the root of your problem, and not just addressing the symptoms of pain.
I do this via detailed appraisals, where I take time to understand your health history, injuries, and your overall lifestyle.
Testing each of your fascia lines gives me an understanding of the fascial constrictions you may have. This is followed by prescribing mobility movements to help you improve.
As a qualified massage therapist, I use a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, fascial release, and lymph drainage, to improve your range of movement and general wellbeing.
I find that the combination of mobility and massage enable longer lasting results.
I firmly believe in helping my clients take control of their health by providing the right tools to live pain-free and move freely.
